This capability scans credit or debit cards, and extracts information: card number, validity date, and more. It can be used to automatically reject expired cards, or used as part of other anti-fraud workflows.

Configuration​

The configuration options are related to bank card anonymization. CVV is always fully anonymized, but you can choose the level of anonymization for the card number and the cardholder's name. You can also select if you want to store the images (anonymized) in transaction results.

Rules​

The basic rules include:

  • card expiry
  • card number validity
  • card liveness

...together with corresponding effects on the step status (rejected, manual review).

Custom rules allow additional, more granular configuration.
